Pastor

Mark Eaton

Mark has a 35-year history in Non-Profit and Ministry efforts. From directing a Wilderness Camping program for delinquent youth, to consulting and mentoring business leaders, to pioneering a regional Men's Ministry in the Northwest, Mark has been on the sharp tip of the arrow most of his life.  He holds a Masters in Global Urban Leadership with a focus on Theology. He is passionate about bringing thoughtful, reflective, honest and practical messages of hope and grace around the country. He is also a contributing writer for Rodeo News. 

Mark, a native of Washington State loves the ocean, jazz and good coffee. He has traveled to Japan, France, England, Egypt, Mexico, Bangladesh, Nepal, Turkey, Ireland, Scotland and Israel giving him a broad cultural and historical background. 

These days Mark travels with his wife, singer storyteller, Susie McEntire. Between them they have 6 children and 12 grandchildren.  Mark is mostly a regular guy seeking to know Christ and live an authentic faith. 




Worship and Youth Leader

Clay Edwards

Clay has a heart for authentic worship through music, and has been serving at Cornerstone Church since January of 2013.  He has been leading worship for 17 years, starting when he was 16 years old at Grant First Baptist Church and for the youth of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hugo. He has also led worship at the BCM at Eastern Oklahoma State University. Clay has been the youth leader at Cornerstone since August of 2017.  He is the agricultural education teacher at Atoka High School, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in agricultural education from Oklahoma State University in May of 2011. Clay and his wife, Meredith, have twin boys, Caleb and Wyatt. 




Elder/Sound Engineer

Brian Cathy

Brian has been an elder of Cornerstone since its beginning in  2008. He works for Ameristate Bank and serves our community as Mayor of Atoka. Brian is well rounded in a number of skills and trades, and he uses the knowledge he has obtained from his experiences to serve the Body of Christ. Brian and his wife, Crystal, work behind the scene each Sunday making sure that our sound and media are running smoothly. Brian and Crystal have huge hearts for the people in Atoka and are always willing to serve and love in any way possible. 




Elder

Michael Cochran

Michael has served as an elder of Cornerstone since 2008. Michael has also served as our youth minister, treasurer, and truly anywhere that he has been needed. Michael owns and operates Dirt Works Equipment in Atoka. He and his wife, Amy, have 4 daughters; Gabe, Dru, Ginger, and Lucy. Michael and his family love Jesus and look for opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel of Christ.




Elder

Charles McCall

Charles has served as an elder of Cornerstone since 2008. He is a life long Atoka resident, and has a heart for the people of Atoka. Charles currently serves the state of Oklahoma as Speaker of the House of Representatives. Charles and his wife, Stephanie, have two sons; Chase and Carson. They love to share the love of Christ with others. In addition to Stephanie teaching our children's church each Wednesday, they also share their home each week to host the Cornerstone youth group.
